EOB E3'S Involvement In The Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) Regional Final

E3 Business Accountants were proud to sponsor The Lion Foundation Young Enterprise Scheme (YES) regional finance award. The winners of the Finance Award were a bright young team from Cashmere High with their innovative STAP Card.

The STAP Card is a reusable alternative to the everyday business card. Simply tap your STAP Card against the recipients phone or get them to scan the QR code on the STAP Card and your contact details will be loaded automatically into the contacts app on the recipients phone.

“They won because the presentation of their financial report met or exceeded the criteria set by the judges.”

YES is an experiential programme designed for year 12-13 students in New Zealand, and provides them the opportunity to set up and run their own business.

Jamie Tulloch, Managing Director of E3 Business Accountants told the students – “you have three options in life to generate income. You can be employed by the government, you can be employed by an entrepreneur or you can be that entrepreneur. The YES scheme helps you discover which of the three options best suit you.”
